It's a staycation summer. More of us are staying home to save gas, cash, energy, resources - or just to purge those closets and see an afternoon movie.
Wherever summer finds you, stop by the Souvenir Shop. Great Canadian design minds put together a remarkable collection of souvenir-referencing wares that are truly collectible, often thought provoking, and miles away from those big giant pencils.
The Souvenir Shop manages to be sly and provocative yet remain in good taste and humor. Very Canadian. Many reinterpret iconic themes also seen on this side of the border – wildlife art, wood carvings – as well as some Canadian-specific (Trudeau doll, anyone?).
Stop in and consider a return visit. There are far too many worthy finds to post here, including apparel and toys.

Love the souvenir-tray table -- that stylized beaver was called "Amik", and he was the mascot of the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.
