There is a new designer in town at Target. Victoria Hagan has done a "Perfect Pieces" line of around fifty items for the giant retailer. Colors are creams, dark browns, gold, blues and greens. We think the inspiration feels a bit Hermes-horsey-set with it's strong classic geometric motifs (medallions/chain).
The equestrian style is evident in the wall mirror ($49.99, pictured at left). A star leaf mirror brings the sun burst-style circular mirror trend home at $39.99.
Pillows are $19.99 to $29.99. Heavy on decor and accessories, the line just has a few accent furniture pieces; the cream colored nesting tables are interesting ($179.99).
Victoria Hagan sells her regular line in Chicago through Holly Hunt in the Merchandise Mart. Some of the Target Collection pieces are available locally, with the full line available at target.com.
The faux stingray mirror!!! Love it!!!
anyone else think the entire line feels too "spring-y" for this time of year??
Looks pretty good - from TARGET a/k/a "Tar-zhay"? Who knew?! I'd welcome a Target store here in Manhattan.
These things look fantastic! Totally love the chair and the hermes looking mirror (on the leather strap). Very high style at great prices. Kinda makes you want to run to the nearest Target
Aren't they opening a target downtown soon?
I'm pretty sure they are.
I don't know about downtown but they're opening a store in East Harlem in 2008.
We have one in Brooklyn, but they have a gigantic one in Staten Island with a nice cafe with seating... so unfair.
Thanks for the heads up. Very interested to see this in person. I wonder if they've worked on quality and finish a bit? I hink that was the downfall of the Thomas O'Brien products Target had.
There was a review of one of the items posted by a New Yorker who bought it in-store. And the Brooklyn Target is at Atlantic Center. You could take the Yellow, Orange, Green and Red Lines directly to the building and back. Blue line stops about two blocks away.
I've seen them in person and the wood items are much better executed in person than the TOB collection was/is. Though the faux shagreen is a little plastic looking, the combination of materials still makes it work. The scale of the lamps is decent though still a little small. They must need to be small for the Target shelf requirements. A great improvement overall.
I fell in love with a mirror by victoria and went back to purchase it at target and it was gone went to thier web site could not find it there. It is a round mirror with leather trim and hung by a horse bit. Please help if any one knows how I can purchase it. I rarly like something so much e-mail moongoose13027@yahoo.com thanks.louise
I like this line in particular I am looking for the coin dot mirror and the star leaf mirror but notice they are not on the target website for purchase does anyone know how to get ahold of these?
