We've been in the market for a hallway runner for sometime now and have been debating whether or not we want to stick to a sisal runner or pick something with a strong pattern or color. Our upstairs hallway is all white with a white pendant lamp and birch accents, so our choices are endless. Here are a few we've found that may be in the running. i just recently got this one at ikea:

it was $20, it's good quality, too. i really like the colors (gray!) and all i need now is a rug stopper... whatever those things are called...

I've had my eye on the sari runner for my entryway, but am hesitant to get something so delicate (silk!) for a high-traffic area. Does anyone know what it would be like to keep it clean?

Timely post! I'm on the hunt for a runner myself. I'm hoping for something colorful because the rug in the main room (which the hallway leads to) is seagrass. I am considering Dash & Albert's flamestitch rug, but it may be a little *too* colorful for my space.

I keep going back to Pottery Barn's faux bois rug -- it would sate my woodgrain addiction, for sure, but no color!

I was hoping Anthropologie would bring me something special but alas, their runner selection is pretty paltry.
