A new paint shop has opened in Chicago. Colori sells the high end, high pigment C2 paint system. They offer a Color Lab, color consultations, color matching and classes. The claim: the C2 paints offer the best hiding power in the industry, as well as being the most light-fast and fade-resistant.
The C2 line of paints sold at Colori uses a 16-colorant European tinting system to give the paints more complex color and undertones.
The amount of colorants also adds to the hue's strength and opacity. According to their press, a primer and then 2 coats MAX is all that is required, even for intense colors. And that's good, because C2 paints ($30.- 60./gallon) are not inexpensive.
