Google Offering Free WiFi at Select Airports for Holidays

For many of us travel is a big part of the holidays. With delays at the airport not being uncommon, having free WiFi access can make passing the time at the airport a bit more pleasant. Just in time for the holiday season, Google has announced that they are offering free WiFi in 47 airports across the country until January 15th.

To use the free WiFi, which is primarily powered by Boingo, no login or email is required. Although Google states that connection speeds will vary, they claim that the majority of the airports will support no less than 512kbps per individual.

In addition to providing free WiFi access at select airports, Google is also providing free WiFi on Virgin America flights this holiday season. Google has pitched all this free WiFi as one of their holiday gifts to users, and frankly it is a gift that we bloggers are quite happy to receive.

Will you be using Google's free WiFi this season? Have you used inflight WiFi before?
