Interior Narratives from Sally Scott

We love it when fashion companies use decorated interiors for their photo shoots. Like magpies, we're always collecting photographs that catch our eye and saving them into our "nesting" files. Our newest finds are these photos from Sally Scott. Sally is a fictional girl for which Japanese clothing designer Akira Minagawa's line is designed. The company takes an interesting angle towards their photo shoots: they build a day-in-the-life narrative for each collection. These moving day photos were taken for a spring/summer collection...

The narrative features two girls setting up a room and freshening up some old furniture with a coat of white paint. Although the photos are really focused on the clothes, we found a few details we love, including the drop-leaf thrift store table, the apothecary-style chest, and the mid-century case of drawers.
