Organizing the Office With... Desk Dots

090508magnet-01.jpg
090508magnet-02.jpgWe found these Desk Dot ceramic magnets while searching the web for must-have office products. While these magnets aren't a necessity we like their simple design and their strong capacity for holding your stuff. More details after the jump.

090508magnet-03.jpgThese mighty magnets from hold up to half an inch of paper making them suitable to organize pads of paper, a stack of business cards or your weekly to-do's. They'd probably function great as stress relief balls and we'd know they'd be perfect play toys for our fidgeting moods. A more colorful option is this Globe Magnet Set from the MoMa Store.

Not for homes with small children. But I like them.

Or cats! But they certainly look like fun otherwise.

These are sold here as toys. They are not really strong magnets BTW. Throw 2 in the air together, they attract and bounce with a singing (and annoying) sound.

Originally came in oblong shapes, now seen as these spheres as well.

As a desk organizer? Hmm.

hint: if it's a truly 'must-have office [or anything] product' you wouldn't have to search the web looking for it.
