So, here we have two bedrooms from two socialites (or "celebutards," depending on who you talk to), and we're curious to see which one of these rooms is more popular? Option A features a black patent leather headboard with a matching bench in a very dramatic black-and-white bedroom; option B is all soft pink frills and mirrored surfaces. Which one do you prefer? Bigger photos and the reveal of who sleeps where after the jump...

I prefer both of the rooms and their owners to go away and never appear again.

I guess Paris hastily removed the mirrors from the ceiling prior to the photoshoot.

Black and white, loveit.

I'll take Paris's room, please. Nicky's room seems as vacant as her facial expressions.

"celebretards" rolls off better than "celebutards" i think.
anyway, i went with Paris's. and now i shall move away from this post and never look at it again. thank you.

Yuck - don't like either one!
view 9flights's profile
neither of them. i would like it to be a combination of the two. the mirror bed, but black and white environment.
view dM's profile
I like Nicky's. Clearly there are things I would change, but the pink room is too precious and floofy for me.
Also, they live in a hotel. I'd change that.
view EmmieB's profile
I am into the black and white room much more than the others.
view Brax's profile
Can we not use "retarded" as an insult? Not Nice, you know?
I'll take the b/w option, as much as I love pink, because that mirrored bed is TEH UGLY.
view Jezebella's profile
I pick Nicky's. It's a bit over the top with the patent, but I love it. I recall really liking it when it was showcased in InStyle a while back. I also love black and white, so that probably plays into it. I like Paris', but the pink would likely get on my nerves after a week.
view 4ddh's profile
I would take Nicky's cause that means her closet is attached.

i like nickys the best... i like the black/white. i'm not fond of that light peachy-pink color.

Both bedrooms scream "I'm a tackhead!"
view sthrngrrrl's profile
Both give me anxiety. I would never be able to sleep in either, regardless of who owns them.

In my opinion, hejiranyc wins for comment of the post.
view sarahisaghost's profile
both are horrible. yes, and the rooms, too.

I am curious to know how many people would say they dislike both if we didn't know who they belong to. I like the black and white room much better. Pink is not my thing, especially the hideous powder pink of that room. But I do like the crisp black and white room. Especially the lamps.
view WendyJ's profile
UGH! this is like that game where you have to pick which is the least awful of two horrible options. Like being skinned alive or impaled. I'd choose the black & white option in this case.

Love B
view rhianna's profile
I guess the black and white one... Except I hate the drapes and curtain rods. And I would repaint the walls and ceiling in a softer, less stark white... maybe grey. Then I'm set.

If I had to choose, then it would B.

Oddly enough, I prefer the Pink bedroom...
...if only it had green fretwork-patterned carpets and grasscloth wallpaper.

I'm always amazed at how boring the celebrity rooms we see on AT are. Both are okay as a base, but man, they need some personality. How about a few pieces of art? Something that doesn't slavishly adhere to the period? (Paris' bedroom needs a killer midcentury chandelier and a knockout piece of art. THEN it would look like something!!)
Look up Lance Armstrong's place. Or J-Lo's. Not a one of them has the slightest bit of personality!

Does Paris have a picture of herself on her nightstand????

Do we really have to choose...?
view Daniel Poitiers's profile
Neither.
And I decided that before I realized who they belong to. (Although that increases the 'ick' factor.)
Having said that, there are elements of the black/white room that I could like...but as is, they are both just too vacant and gaudy.
view Nevanna's profile
neither of the above. They're both hideous.
view wc_canuck's profile
Neither. These are not pics I'd rip out and stick in my decor scrapbook.
view Valerie's profile
neither! and that was decided before knowing the owners.
there are "celebrities" out there who really deserve to have their names in print, cant you highlight that type of celebrity on your site?
view sassydo's profile
do we have to choose? fine, then I choose A.
But I won't ever admit it in public.
view miss claudia's profile
I would pick a hybrid of the two.
view wabadee1's profile
Neither one is really my thing, but if I had to choose I'd go with B, but I'd switch out the pink for an eggshell blue or pale mint green, and lose the chandelier. I kind of like that patent headboard in A, though.
view insanity_pepper's profile
nicky's. it would be even cooler if she had a black bourgie in it!

Ugh! Not a fan of either bedroom!

both are so kitsch
view ziiip's profile
Hate both of them!!
view williamsweyr's profile
i really dont like either of the, too. im a guy so the pink one reminds me of my sisters room when she was 10 and the other one looks like a dominatrix room and thus doesnt look very relaxing.
view MFlick's profile
Parts of both could be combined to make a decent room. I luff the mirror bed and the chandelier. The curtains are a bit frou-frou.
view quiltmaster's profile
both are vile :)

Wow, this is such a respectable, professional post with eloquent vocabularly such as "celebutard" followed by the rash of comments scorning two perfectly fine rooms for biased reasons. The rooms may not be inspiring or perfect, but they are certainly lavish and coordinated. I doubt participants would pick them apart quite this critically if the rooms' inhabitants had remained anonymous. Casual blog or no, is this really necessary?
I'd like to thank the people that critiqued the rooms on the sole basis of their design, and I would like the author to rethink their use of words with hybrids of "retard" in them as a put-down in reference to people who do not have mental disabilities. Not only is it inaccurate, it's just plain tactless.
P.S. The "...depending on who you talk to," afterthought is just an insulting cop-out.

Nicky's room looks a little morbid with the black curtains. I like Paris', except for the over use of the color pink and the weird textile work on the curtains.
view somedudeinvicenza's profile
Nicky's is much better...
That pink monstrosity is made worse by the mirrored bed. So, so, so unexplainably ugly.

A couple of years ago Apatment Therapy was such a great site. Now all these politically correct people are here and I just want to vomit on all of them.
view Mr. Dangerous's profile
Ew. Not a fan of either, but if I had to chose, I'd definitely got with Nicky's room.
view tgfoo's profile
is it sad that i immediately recognized room B as belonging to paris hilton?
i think i prefer A, but even then i'd start changing around a lot of colors.
view lemonpie's profile
I like A a lot, actually. I would add some art and a bit of colour, perhaps make it more Anna Sui, but mmm I like it
B, even if my room is all pink, I do not like that particular shade, also it looks too cluttered
view La loca's profile
Both yucky!!!
view SAG's profile
Regardless of who the owners are, I'd pick none. They're really too blah for me. I guess they stripped the personality out of them to showcase them... jeje
