LA Event: CA Boom 2008

031308_caboom.jpgCA Boom V is almost here! The weekend-long event is a great way to check out brand new design materials and ideas, see some amazing architecture, and get acquainted with some of LA's great local resources for prefab elements and green design:

This year's show is at Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport and boasts over 120 exhibitors. We're looking forward to it, though we're already overwhelmed with all of the options available. We can check out some tours of amazing houses in our neighborhood, hit up the actual show for the prefab zone, modern parenting zone, modern kitchen and bath zone and stop in for the incredible panels (one including Julius Schulman) on architecture and design. Locally we're looking forward to seeing what the Eames Office and EpoxyBox put on display. We can't wait to report back all that we find at the show.

The show starts tomorrow and you can buy your tickets here. Tickets to the show are $20. If you're interested in doing a tour of either the Palisades, Santa Monica or Venice, buy your tickets sooner than later as these are the first to go!
