This may not have the same universal appeal that the Ikea Expedit bookcase has, but we are madly in love with the Draper Cabinet featured in Robert Redford's Sundance catalogue. Based on the vintage cabinets that an upholsterer would use to hold all of their necessities, this piece is breathing new life as a bookcase worthy of showcasing our favorite treasures.
We love the details: antique brass cardholders, drawers at the bottom, smaller numbered cubbies up top. In fact, the only thing we hate about this bookcase is the price tag: a steep $2,000! Ouch.
This is beautiful, with such character and weight.
