Transform Your Furniture...Using Mirrors

atla-052208-mirror01.jpgMaybe it's living in Hollywood but we love mirrored furniture. We've got a mirrored desk which we bought just as we were about to spring for mirroring our own. While we were in NY, we spotted this mirrored credenza at ABC Carpet while we were in NY for ICFF...

Like most mirrored pieces, it had a very hefty price tag. We've blogged mirroring Ikea's lack table. Use that as a starting point and then take it one step further. This credenza layers two additional beveled mirrors over a underlayer of mirror.

ABC Carpet & Home is the BEST place in NYC! Check out their site too! And, great post...mirrors really expand any space.

Sorry. I just don't get the whole "mirrors glued to furniture" thing. I think most of it is Hollywood tacky.

Looks interesting but a cleaning nightmare.

Cleaning nightmare or not, this page of mirrored furniture makes me giddy:

When I redid my extremely tiny upstairs bathroom a few months ago I refaced some cabinets by putting mirrors on the doors. At $18 per door and some black paint for the face frame, it was a very cheap project that everyone says looks great. It added a lot of light and made the cramped space seem larger. I've replaced the boring fake wood door with a nice six-panel one since the pictures were taken also.
