Round Up: 5 Best Affordable Night Tables

atla-022008-costplusall.jpg We've blogged Cost Plus before as an resource for inexpensive curtains, well-priced frames, even food -- but furniture? Recently, while searching the site for baskets to complete our still languishing January Jumpstart Project, we noticed some inexpensive and basic small wood tables.

While they also have classic nighttables, these five tables caught our eye for their ability to both fit well into a bedroom and mix well with many different styles from modern to Hollywood Regency. We can picture the Palms Nesting tables, painted in a deep and high gloss Chinese red, acid yellow or teal blue, as a spot of color in a gray bedroom.

I particularly like the last one - Tahoe, I think it is? It looks expensive. I think West Elm has a good selection of simple side tables as well that aren't very expensive. www.westelm.com
