Although designer Justin Wagemakers was ultimately crowned the winner of the Bathroom Innovations Awards 2008 for his free|flow showerhead, it was Michael Trudgeon's modular bathroom bathroom designed that personally impressed us the most. The Cirrus MVR concept is a stainless steel module equipped with a built-in bath, shower, toilet and hand basin, all designed to use a lot less water...perfect for small space living in arid locales. Check out the rest below...

The student category was won by Lockie Von Moger's Ishi Shower, another design with water conservation in mind, incorporating a touch-button pause option which allows for time to lather up while putting the water on hold. It also appears she's incorporated a soap dish into her modern diagonal showerhead design, a small detail we appreciate.

See the rest of the 2008 professional and student finalists in detail and with plenty of more photos at the Bathroom Innovation Award 2008 website.
