Modern Heat Relief. We ran across this in one of our searches and wish we had it for days like today. Then we realized it was part of a previous Good Question. The Venti fan has three speeds, oscilates and in addition to being fully adjustable is very attractive. It is "built entirely out of cast aluminum and steel to ensure durability"...

That is beautiful! But quite pricey...

I have had cars that cost less than this fan. Granted, they didn't run for long, nor did they run particularly well, but $650? For a FAN?! I'd rather just hire a pool boy for the afternoon.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't find it attractive.
I do find this one attractive and built well, and it was also the subject of an AT post a while back :

A little pricey? Everyone is so polite--that's a ridiculous price for a fan! I'm sure there are probably ATers here who wouldn't mind dropping more than half a grand on some spinning blades in a shiny retro casing, but I don't have pockets that deep.

Wow, based on the price I assumed it was a GIANT fan, like the one of those 6-foot tall industrial mamas, but the website says it's less than 3 feet tall. Perhaps it has diamonds embedded in the blades?

Art Deco fan based on a 1925 design (same era as Eileen Grey designed her famous fable)

Another Art Deco style :

Not sure what category this fits in but it's different -

This one has me wondering how well it cools - but it looks cool, especially the all satin nickel one -

And they're all (way) under $650. ;-> They're all kinda retro - it's hard to find modern table fans.

boomer--
The fan samples you provide, while certainly interesting, are all decidedly *vintage* which I don't think is at all the point of the originally-posted fan.

...and the "it's hard to find modern table fans" is , as I see it, the point of the post, and perhaps (although sadly) a contributor to why some seem find an exorbitant price tag on this model.
