At home, we keep note cards on hand for sending out on birthdays and other occassions. And we found an unusual greeting card company recently to add to our stash: Artists to Watch. They feature up-and-coming artists printed on high-quality greeting cards at a very fair price...
The image up top is of a card, Sing Back the Swan, we gave our father last weekend. The poem by Apollinaire, letterpressed into the front, reads so aptly:
Come to the edge, He said
They said: we are afraid
come to the edge, He said
They came
He pushed them, and they flew...
These greetings are out of the ordinary and can even be displayed as artwork by the receiver.
