The architect was called in to appease appalled residents who didn't want an unsightly public toilet on the Westbourne Grove traffic island.

It was built in 1993, and Nikki Tibbles's first Wild at Heart flower shop installed itself on the other end of the now iconic Turquoise Island. Now you can watch the staff of Wild at Heart assemble their fresh, natural-looking bouquets right on the sidewalk.
