It looks gorgeous, but how well does the tile adhere to the wall without the texture to hold the glue?

Still, really gorgeous!

They kind of look like chocolate bars.

that looks really cool. I wish they hadn't also introduced all that other tile work into the mix - it just makes it too busy, and takes away from the beauty of the reversed tiles. That first pic above showcasing them alone looks awesome.

In direct light, it's horribly dated. It looks like what you might see at a "rustic"-themed fast food restaurant, i.e., McDonald's isn't just the red and yellow, each franchise has some semblance of decor independent of other McDonaldses. The one near me, where I grew up, renovated thusly in the early 80s, and without scanning it too carefully, the brown sofa reminds me of a booth, and the plant looks like a typical accessory to the aforementioned "design" of the space.

In indirect light, it has neutral tones of mosaic. It could be interesting if it didn't look like leftovers in an unfortunate color scheme, applied haphazardly. A while ago, someone featured a shower (I think) where the owner put together a righteous color scheme in greens and blues and aquas, all from end lots or discontinued lines, and it came out gorgeous. This has made me wonder, what the fronts of these tiles must look like. They must either be completely disgusting or so mismatched, or this treatment is a damn shame.

Euw, don't like it myself, reminds me of the chipped and somehow dusty biscuits left over from the mandatory Christmas selection box, in my granddad's biscuit tin... never a good look, doubly when it involves anything to do with food!
