Too much design gives me a headache. It's sort of cool I guess, but can't a toilet just be a toilet?

At least you wouldn't fall in in the middle of the night if DH leaves the lid up! (bad DH! Bad!)

i think you guys showed this before... it's weird, and oddly unsanitary-feeling. toilets aren't furniture for a reason. er, and furnitures aren't toilets for a reason. i need help.

Why not turn the toilet into a useable seat that isn't screaming "here's something full of water that you crap in!" The slide-away cover seems easy AND good looking. I wouldn't necessarily want it in a metal finish, but I've seen something similar in wood, in a sort of Japanese-bath-type decor that looked great.

I kind of like the idea but I wouldn't want to have to clean that. I like the look of the soaking tub too, but am trying to figure out how one actually gets in.

Guests would be confused.

20 20 1, can't you see the drawers next to the sink? They're the steps to get in the tub! ;)

Is it just me or does zebrano and wenge type laminate seem like a passing trend?

I love it and I am going to get one of this. I don't like the sight of a toilet. I would love also a bathtube that can be trasformed in a spa bed. My bathroom will be more like a bedroom!

Seems to be a real toilet fixation lately on AT -- what's that all about? I thought bathroom month was over . . .

I think if you had this and then hosted a raging party, people might end up drunkenly peeing in your tub out of frustration...

art - I agree on its trendiness, but there are some cool pieces being created in zebrano right now. I have a feeling it will be like light blue and chocolate: not exactly cutting edge in a few years but that won't stop people from using it (and irritating us design snobs with it) later.

I think it's great. If someone is too dumb or too drunk to figure it out I sure as heck wouldn't be hanging out with them anyways.

Hmmm, confusing your guests by making them hunt for the toilet...it could be evil fun!
