Margaret Taylor's Reclaimed Patchboard Furniture

Re-Use. We found these unique cabinets buried in the design*sponge Eco Gift Guide and wanted to highlight them. We were thrilled to see that there is an entire series of reclaimed patchboard furniture from Georgian artist Margaret Taylor available online from UnCommon Goods. Similar to the aesthetic that Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek has popularized in the high-end design world, Margaret's range of pieces are available in five different color palettes...

The full product line-up includes:
End Table
Tiered End Table
Bench
Cube Cabinet
Coffee Table (two sizes)
Tiered Coffee Table
Stools (with and without arms)
Headboard & Bed Frame

While we would avoid going overboard on this style, a single item (or two) could be a great addition to a modern home. We're fond of the cabinets and end tables especially. The prices seem reasonable for these unique pieces — End Tables start at $390 and King-sized bed frames and headboards are the most expensive at $2350.

I *LOVE* these!!! OH! The "Classic" color pattern! OH MY! It's as though she climbed right inside my brain and looked to see what my subconscious was dreaming about in my quest for the perfect bed frame. Because I have looked and looked and looked and so far nothing has felt "right". But this? This is it. And she's in Georgia! What lucky fate for my Southeasterly located self. I am blown away. This bed frame sitting on my hardwood floors with my smoky green, "Thundercloud" walls, my wide white trim, my single, warm wood dresser and salvaged, whitewashed painted "armoire"- perfection.

Thank you for the link!
