Graphic Glamour. These headboards from Swedish designer, Myrica Bergqvist successfully straddle the line between minimal and glamourous. The Queenie, pictured above, is as decadent as the luxe/homey bedclothes and available in six acrylic colors and "mirror"...

Name that peacock bedding, please.
where oh where can i find the peacock sheets in the top photo??? i'm in love....
How sturdy are the headboards? Can you lean against them, in order to read in bed? Can they withstand, under the right conditions, a head thumping against them for an hour?
They look great and don't take up much space, which I like.
It's the Sir Elton for me, must be my British ancestry but I just love it. Just how expensive are these on a receptionist salary?
I found something that may satisfy if no one can track down those sheets. They are on sale too. WOuld look great with that headboard:

does anyone know where the argyle duvet is from???
I'm usually not a DIY guy (but love the toolbelts!!), but these seem ripe for DIY "interpretation"... a sheet of MDF, a jigsaw...
and DD-- doesn't your head get sore from all that banging?
When this first posted in February, I got in touch with Scandanavian Design Center and found out they will not ship these internationally. Particularly with the larger sizes, they have found the frames break too often during shipping.
I've been looking since then for headboards anywhere and everywhere, but can't find anything with this winning combination of old-world fancy and sleek modern. Canal Plastics will fabricate, if I bring in a template, but they can only do a silhouette on such a large piece (I need a king). I'm fairly handy, but I can't replicate those delicate inside cuts with a jigsaw. And I've painted enough wood to know how time-consuming it will be to get a glossy painted finish.
What to do? I just can't get these headboards (specifically the Sir Elton) out of my head!
