William-Sonoma Bed Roundup

Presidio
On the aspirational level, we have been very impressed with William-Sonoma's new home line and nothing shows their style better than their four main beds (they have three new styles as well). Starting at $1700, these are monumental beds that smack of a chic hotel more than a cozy home, but they are sexy, we love the wingback variation and quality has been high in our experience.

That winged-back thing looks like it would be great for sitting up in bed reading, and the curves of the "wings" gives the bed a sinewy strength that looks very solid and fun.

Can anyone tell me if the accent table on the far left of page 98 of the catalog (I looked at the online version) is a piece that WS sells? If so, details please! (It looks like it is part of the 'Victoria' collection.) Many thanks.

This may be a dumb question... Why is the Presidio bed shown merchandised on an outdoor pooldeck?

I believe that the house on the background is Neutra's in California. Just to answer your question, Enrique, I think they placed the bed outside because one of the major parti of the house is it's blurring the lines of interior/exterior.

I think the stylist just wanted a tan.

Deepa--
Rolling over and clicking on that image opens a new window with all the details on the three Victoria Collection pieces... etagere, cabinet, and hamper with cushion.

ps:

W-S Home now has some seriously gorgeous window covering options, including some super-swank hardware.
