It's unseasonably warm in New York today and it's got us thinking about Spring. While we know these thoughts are premature, we're going to prolong the feeling with a yellow post. This yellow roundup comes from the January/February issue of Metropolitan Home and we've chosen our favorites of the bunch...
The color chips are (from top to bottom): Glidden's Sundrenched, Ace Paint's Sunnyside Up, Behr's Saffron Thread. The interior shot is the Palm Beach home of Lisa Perry. The yellow lace is from Flavor Paper and is similar to a table runner we picked up at IKEA on clearance last year.

This Thayla chair by Patrick Jouin for for Kartell was first seen at last year's Milan Furniture Fair. Kartell is a great place for bold color inspiration.

This fabric (Soleil’s Heat Wave) from Kravet is water-resistant acrylic and would make an excellent choice for some of the January Jumpstart projects.

These yellow nesting tables are from AT favorite, Council. Though they're pricey at $3,626, we may have to add them to the High End section of our Top 10: Nesting Tables post.
Check out the full slideshow from Metropolitan Home for all the yellow inspiration.

I love very, very pale shades of yellow for interior walls of a home. I'm not sure if they count as a "neutral" that future buyers are supposedly looking for, but my philosophy is to decorate for me while I'm living there, not fix it up just before I turn it over to someone else.

Hmm..so Yellow is the official "it" color for 2008?
I saw a bunch of yellow frames, etc in Pottery Barn this weekend.

YES! And if you think about it, which one is going to "wear" better--a lovely soft buttery pale yellow, or that iris blue? I vote, yellow walls, and iris blue for the accents.
