Mid-Century Modern in London
The New York Times 6.18.08

The New York Times shows us the three-story 2,100-square-foot house that Jane Prophet and David Richardson renovated in London. The new space is clean-lined and simply furnished with a few unique touches. We're fond of the blue cabinetry built in one of the bedrooms (above) and the floating bed in the master bedroom...

The couple is selling the Crouch End home to finance a move to New England. For the story and all the pictures, see In London, a Mid-Century Renovation and its slideshow.

Very nice. I love the pixelated bed coverings - I immediately thought of the Atari 2600 graphics. Lovely house. The decals on the grey bedroom walls are genius too.

I love the living room and dining room. Not so crazy about the bedrooms, except for the blue cabinets, which are very nice.

And love the kitchen!

I love the colour scheme in the master bedroom. That copper light fixture is fab. I think it's cute that they're moving from [old] England to New England.

I'd love to know what the beautiful grey paint color is on the bedroom wall!
