(Welcome to bhgirl, who helped us cover Bklyn Designs this weekend!)
"Here's some very handsome woodwork, from Scott Raffaele of 4Korners, based in Red Hook. His brother, Greg (just peeking in at the right of the picture), played the role of friendly spokesman and pointed out the ash exterior of this credenza, sustainable bamboo interior and trusses supporting it from the bottom. .."
"Benches with hollow legs for easy transport (but which can be filled with sand for greater stability) were available as well. Scott was also showing a credenza in a luscious rosewood, a popular choice throughout the show, along with other rich-colored woods such as walnut (worlds away from the one-toned, generic-looking wenge veneers made popular by West Elm, Bo Concept and the like)."

Handsome indeed. Was he the inspiration for the cute woodworker guy on Sex and the City?

Not only is he handsome, but as friend, I can say that Scott is a great woodworker and an all around awesome guy. Good luck, Scott!
And people,... buy his work! Excellent craftsmanship, nice proportions, quality materials, locally made... What else can you ask for?

Wow...I wish I had the dough to afford his goods. I love the woodwork and the clean lines.
I like how you can convert the credenza from plain shelves to drawers, etc. It's great to see someone free up credenzas--that they work not just in dining areas, but living rooms, bedrooms, etc.
Is he Filipino? I noticed on his sight that he gave props to his "Lola" (grandmother). It's something I noted because at West Elm with a group of friends, we noticed that a lot of the new items made of wood were from the Philippines and some were items that have been common in Filippino homes for years.
