The pictures of the newly renovated Franz Kafka Society Center in Prague left us swooning for a built-in bookshelf budget of our own. OK -- I need some of those rotating bookshelf things to deal with mine. Love my books. Sometimes hate having them all out in the open.

Beautiful!
Does anyone know a good carpenter around New York City that can build shelves like these (not the swiveling ones and all that jazz... don't have THAT many books).

ian b, in ny you should check out set-design shops at some of the smaller, off-broadway theatres and see if there's a starving artist who could do this for you!
