After endlessly scouring stores, catalogs and the web for inspirational pieces, it's always refreshing when something new stands out among the throngs. These intriguing cabbage vases from Anthropologie did just that. Handmade in South Africa, the clay vessels are glazed in a cool and refreshing pale green. The perfect color on a cold winter day will also look great in a space dominated by rich deep warm tones (think cranberry or eggplant)...

LOL!! uhhm. no one is going to say it??? ok i will leave it alone then

Um, if these GREEN vases remind you of, well, what they seem to remind you of, I am deeply concerned for yourselves and/or significant others.
They did not remind me of anything phallic (or phallic-adjacent) --believe it or not!!-- but I do not find them attractive at all.
Too "Island of Doctor Moreau." If Dr. Moreau were a vegan.

Ugly! Maybe there was a good reason this had never been done before. New doesn't always equal good.

This reminds me of some pottery that my dad brought home from the Art Institute in Chicago. although the whole bowl was made of the "cabbage". Gotta say this is a little weird. I lean towards the all or nothing with this kind of stuff, not half vegetable half ikea white vase. And yes it is a little reminiscent of something else. Something that should not really be on the coffee table EVER!

Not on the coffee table, ever?? You are NO fun.

Laughing!! My thoughts went directly to high school biology class and the take-apart model of the heart at the front of the room, but I see I'm in the minority here :)

Is the green because they're infected??

They would look painful if they were blue.
