Have you ever been to the amazing Chelsea store, Mr. Pink? The small garden-level space on West 16th street always stocks an inspiring assortment of new and vintage housewares and table top — jelly jars, Pyrex glassware, Christmas ornaments...The vintage glassware is our personal favorite and it's all coming to an end...

its sad, but yet everything in there was SO incredibly overpriced I'm not surprised.

I know, I was excited about the store until I saw that their prices were more than what you would pay on ebay including shipping. Hope I can score a good deal in the sale!!
Isn't tomorrow june 5th?

Are we for sure on this? Mr. Pink is my neighbor, and he's announced "going out of business" a couple of times now. He's had a 40% off sign in the window for at least the last two weeks. I love the stuff, but never go in because my collection is already too large, and my kitchen too small.

it's a tough business for stores like this in new york, remember kitschen on bleeker, U.S.E.D. on perry, and mood indigo on prince. i wonder if ebay was a factor in cutting into the business. i know many dealers on ebay feel that because of the volume on ebay, the prices on many collectibles has dropped.

Hooray for vintage pyrex; too bad it's ridiculously priced here in Canada if you can find it; and eBay shipping is killer.
