A few years ago we photographed the day by day evolution of our annual amaryllis bulb: Flower Box Special: Day 15 . This year we got ourselves a big honking bulb, a jumbo amaryllis from Smith and Hawken, and put it in a vase in our bathroom. The slideshow above shows daily progress over the past two weeks and we'll add to it each day. Enjoy!
