Claim: Watch as Canada's leading interior designer, Candice Olson, tackles challenging home design dilemmas. Olson and her clever cast of charactersa carpenter, an electrician, a painter and a design assistantall team up to redesign a space that's sophisticated and stylish.

Starter Comments...
Mikhaela: I like Divine Design but [Candice Olsen] is just a bit too much for me sometimes.
Jamie Pup: Sometimes a little too flashy but overall innovative, functional and usually looks very good.
Jay: love Candice but she goes overboard with the windown treatments and accessories.

did you see the show where candice designed and had constructed a waterfall above an electric fireplace with bookcases on either side in a narrow townhouse dinning room?
Always enjoy the show, but even if I like the occassional injection of humour the skits can get a little too tiresome.
Being an ex-pat Canuck, I just love watching the show for the way they say "we're going to make this hoose look fabulous." But the one thing I can't take is Chico the electrician, and the way they make him do stupid things like stick his head out of holes in the wall and say "me not know where I am" in his forced accent. So awkward. Now, Debbie Travis Facelift, on the other hand ... love.
She's too over the top, goofy and faux fabulous.
Candice is one of my favs. Her drawings are by far the best. Being able to sketch and show your ideas in a clear and artistic manner goes a long way with me. Kenneth Brown's and 99% of the drawings on Designer's Challenge are an embarrassment.
i caught an episode where she redid a basement for a mother and young son. Candice put a dish of orange sand with a large candle in it on a table. my wife and i said at the same time "the kid is going to play in that the second he sees it". sure enough, soon after the reveal, the son is making his dinosaurs run around in the sand... i'm sure not exactly what candice intended.
DC Dave - I agree. I think her elevations are great. I wonder if she does them herself. When I see them I think I need to go back to school to learn how to draw like that. I also think she does a great job at lighting.
I said it yesterday and I'll say it again - Kenneth Brown draws like a grade schooler with a new box of crayons. It's horrendous. How does he get up the nerve to actually present them to the clients and the TV viewers?!
She does do them herself. There was a "behind the scenes" episode that showed her drawing in between shots. It is amazing to me that most of these "designers" didn't learn how to draw in design school.
Divine Design is my favorite show on HGTV but the skits before commercials are really cheezy. My favorite episode was her redesign of a small and narrow kitchen that she turned into a "tuscan" kitchen that was absolutely beautiful.
Frankly, I can't understand her stuff at all. I was going to say her style looks campy, but not in a good way... The room above, for example, is unpardonably horrendous.
And what's up with Chico?! So not PC.
Hey Anne, not only her elevations but the perspective drawings too that you see at the end.
Still can't get used to the term pot lights though even though high hats (which I'm used to) actually sounds worse.
I can't get over how tall she is. It's insane.
I've never been thrilled by her end results, but I've also never been horrified. There are a lot of design show out there that end with a god-awful reveal [including clean sweep and neat, my two favorites]. Her interiors are always suburban but pretty solid, design-wise... I also get the sense that her renovations actually improve the house, unlike many shows.
Her interiors usually don't do that much for me -I have a general sense of mainstreamy, overdone, safeness about the makeovers on this show.
I've always wondered, really assumed that the TV designers don't do their own drawings.
I mildly like all the hi-jinks on that show. Sometimes when it comes on - I never actually plan to watch this show - I leave it on because of the light-hearted silliness. It's a different quality than many of the other design shows. I esp.liked the episodes when she was preggers. Otherwise, I sometimes have thought she looks anorexic (anyone else noticed that?) but maybe she was just not well those days. I really like all the guys, esp Chico, despite any hints of un-PC character treatment. I really liked his former ponytail.
She really gets on my nerves. Its a show I don't miss at all.
Her comments to the guys always seemed inappropriate. And I hate the way she dresses. I think that annoys me the most. Was this show filmed in the early 90's or something?
Her drawing is fabulous though. Even my design-show-hating husband has commented on it. And some of her designs are quite nice but not in an accessible I-can-do-that way.
I think that she DOES have a few tricks (pot lights, etc.) that she uses kind of a lot, but which I like, so I have no problem with.
Other than her kind of bad puns (let's face it, they ALL do that), jokes, etc., the general atmosphere of levity is probably needed when you're doing such (in my humble opinion) generally fairly chic-looking stuff.
I think that she does two versions of the drawings, though. One that she does ahead of time, and another one that I think she probably traces off the reveal shots, because otherwise when they fade from the "before" to the "rendering" to the "after" that rendering and the after absolutely could NOT line up that perfectly. I love the effect enough that it doesn't bother me, though, and she does do that well.
I think one thing that has to be considered about EVERY project is that every single client has certain things that they're hoping for, and sometimes they're insistent about those things. So, what's interesting is to see which things the designed can effectively illuminate and educate the client about, so they can clarify and refine their wants and expectations, and which things they really need to gracefully work into the project.
ALSO... some existing spaces provide limits to what can be done to them.
I have an unnaturally intimate knowledge of one of her projects. I have a weird layout in my kitchen, and saw the perfect solution in a nearly identical kitchen on one of her shows ("Linda's Kitchen"). I videotaped it and have replicated it down to almost the last detail, except with a much more modern look (different cabinets, paint, tile, etc.). I made all my contractors watch parts of the video so they would know exactly what I was talking about. It was so helpful. Anyway, the point is, I've had an opportunity to analyze exactly what she did in this kitchen, and the woman knows what she is doing. Every time I thought I should deviate from the way she did it, I turned out to be wrong. However, I agree with Emy that the whole show has an early 90s vibe, and I hate the way she dresses.
While she does rely on recessed lighting a little too much, I think her's is one of the only shows that really pays attention to lighting. Most other shows are focused on colors and textures, but then they just add in any old table lamps. Lighting is such a crucial element, and I appreciate that she seems to be one of the only ones talking about it in pretty much every episode.
As for the renderings, its all in the technique. But she knows the technique inside and out and it shows.
I like how she pronounces "drama."
And I agree with dollarvines' mention of her attention to lighting--most of the other quickie-makeover shows don't talk about electricity at all. Plus I feel like her worker bees actually do real carpentry rather than hot gluing MDF together.
I keep a season pass in the TiVo for when I have time to kill but I don't tune in regularly.
Her work is consistently above-par. And she demonstrates a lot of stylistic range, catering more to the client needs and desires than to any sort of a "challenge" proposed by the show's producers. So good for Candace for maintaining some design integrity!
But despite her good design work, the show doesn't make for very engaging television-watching. It all feels very safe and feel-good. And the cutaway "comedy" bits are just, uh, embarassing. The show feels like it belongs more on the Hallmark Channel than HGTV. It seems to play to the "Touched by an Angel" crowd... And don't get me started that horrific theme song: it reminds me of Linda Lavin scat-singing the theme song to the "Alice" (which is a guilty-pleasure karaoke number for me). "Dwee-daa! Dum-dum-daa-daa...!" (Once you hear it, you can't get it out of your head.)
The waterfall/fireplace feature lorraine references was a great-looking room. Another stand-out was the young doctor's chocolate-brown bachelor pad kitchen and dining room. There's no denying her design prowess; and she seems like a lovely person. It's just the high-fructose levels present on the show that work the last nerve of my black, black heart.
I almost put "pawt light" in my drinking game, but I haven't heard her say it in a long time.
I was always a fan of this show but I haven't seen it in a while (had forgotten about the lame skit interludes). At the time when I was watching this show more frequently I was struck by the more professional nature of her design and execution.
So many of the design shows focus on how to be creative on a tight budget with limited time which is always nice to see and be inspired by. It's just that there are now so many of these shows and so few programs that follow real projects/designer. Being able to see well crafted, well planned rooms can be just as, if not more, inspiring than watching designers make effective solutions with little money.
This is not to say that Candice is the end all be all in the design world. It's just that, to me, her show is a refreshing change because it is like watching what a real designer would do on a project. There is little discussion of budget or beating the clock and viewers are allowed to focus on how she solves problems and beautifies the spaces. I was also a fan of Curb Appeal for the same reason - they tackled projects from beginning to end in real time with real budgets and we got to see the results.
Anyway, I have run on about this but I think that at the time when I was watching HGTV so much I felt burned out on all of the dramatic small budget/2 day design project shows.
I would love to be on the show...do the people on the show have to pay? or is everything included just to make the show? if I do not have to pay I could give Candice a hell of a challege to re=do my livingroom and dinning area...how about it Candice wanna challenge in Miami?????
I think Candace is very talented. She is my favorite television designer. I think she is creative and stylish. I also think she carries her height well and dresses nicely. I could do without the comdey skits but that's not why I watch the show. Even when she's catering to the homeowners' style, she does it with class. I have a huge bedroom with nice furniture. When ever I think of decorating I always think how wonderful it would be to have her do my room. I think she would do a great job. How are cleints selected?
You have to live in Canada and more specifically in the Toronto area to be on her show.

I think Candice Olsen is one of the best designers I ve seen, not way over the top like most!!!Im a artist myself with a leaning towards the traditional. I had enough retro when I livied thru it. Why people are so critical of her, her height, her humor is beyond me, they write their deragatory comments in words they can't even spell correctly. Go Candice go, your ok with us south of Nigara ! By the way I can't seem to find out what Candice had and when? Boy or girl. Best to you, Joann Bowman
Overall, I love Candace Olsen because of her simplicity, down to earth nature and her solid knowledge in interior design. It is apparent that she knows what she is good at and it is obvious she is successful in expressing her ideas into words and making them into reality. She was definitely born to be in this field. She comes across as a very confident, talented and professional individual yet mixed with a hint of quarkiness. I understand why people may get annoyed and exasperated with the show, but I guess I do not mind it because I am quarky myself. It would be great if I could meet Candace someday and have a one on one chat.
I absolutely love Devine Design! Candice is my favorite designer- everything she does looks so great. I've used alot of her ideas in my own home. Does she ever do things outside of Canada?
I have a 500 sq. ft room that is empty and I can hear it calling her name.
I love watching Candice. I have NEVER seen a room she has done that wasn't wonderful. Love her, love her, love her. I TIVO all of her shows and even watch the shows I have seen before because there is so much to see. I watch a lot of HGTV, and a lot of the designers miss the mark sometimes on their designs, but Candice seems on all the time. I'm sure she has a great team. So Hurrah!!! for her and her team.
To agree with Stephanie and Elmore. Candice Olson is one of the most phenomenal designers I've seen and she has an outstanding team working with her. I actually enjoy the skits. As for Debbie Travis, I think she'd be more at home on TLC with her fellow collegues on Trading Spaces--who apparently majored in home disaster creation. Why does HGTV have her on so much? Sorry if that offended any of you.
I think Candice Olsen is the best. Way better then TLC I haven't see a room she's done, I haven't liked. Unlike the other make over show. Keep up the great work.
new season coming up in Canada
Feb 2nd & 5th in Canada
Can't wait. heard it's going to be an amazing opening show with some cool stuff.
tune in.
Not sure when it airs in US? What is the time lag between WNetwork and HGTV in US?
I love the warm look all of Candace Olsen's rooms have. I would love to duplicate that look in my home. Does she have a book out? A magazine?
Jean Scott,
Candice has a book as well as a DVD out -- if you go to www.amazon.ca (this is Canadian Amazon) and do a search on Candice Olson the information will come up.
I enjoy watching Candice Olsen. The team has many great idea. What I dont care is wasting time on the squits. It would be nice if they
spend more time on showing how they do the the recess lighting, carpentry. They go to fast and they should spend more time showing us how they do the work. I live in Tampa Florida and I would love to have Candice Olsen design my kitchen. I love her taste. She is very talented in selecting color and setting furniture. Please tell how do you select the homes where Candice's designs?
Where can I find a list of the products brands she uses on her shows? I want to buy the wall sconces she put in the loft living room for those two cute guys.
I think Candice is absolutely wonderful. Her designs are creative and her attention to detail is excellent. As far as the skits go, I can take them or I can leave them. Sometimes they are so goofy were there funny in a way. Nevertheless, the show is excellent, innovative, creative down right good! WAY TO GO!!!
I would really like to know what the budget of each design is, and if it is the client's budget or the networks. Anyone know?
Sara
Also, does Candice actually still practice in the Toronto area or does she strictly just do the show?
Candice Olson is THE best designer on TV, bar none. Decorating is more than painting walls and adding pillows. Candice considers every aspect of design. She is the only one who takes lighting into consideration, a crucial and overlooked feature. She also does renovation when necessary. I think Candice does a fantastic job on every room she designs.
I love everything about Candice and her shows. Her design are elegant & comfortable.
I LOVED DIVINE DESIGN AND CANDICE OLSON. I REALLY, REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE CANDICE COME TO MY HOME AND WORK HER MAGIC WITH HER DESIGN TEAM. TO ME, SHE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST DESIGNERS AROUND - SHE TAKES A ROOM THAT IS DRAB AND LIFELESS - AND LIKE A MAGICIAN TRANSFORMS IT INTO A BEAUTIFUL ROOM. A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOREVER. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK CANDICE - THE KIDDING ON THE SHOW - AND YOUR DESIGN TEAM IS GREAT TOO... AS THE SAYING GOES -- WE WANT CANDICE!!! WE NEED CANDICE...
I think Candace is an awesome designer, she's actually my favorite. Just look at the "before and after". The way she designs is very classy. And unlike the TLC designers do, she knows not to use cheap mdf and mis-tint paints. Although the show can do without the cheezy jokes, people including me witll continue to watch it. More power to you Candace!!!
I think Candice is very talented and happy at what she does. She has a style of elegance that I can appreciate. We are all different, with different styles, thats what makes us unique. If you have a site to enter for a giveaway makeover I would love to enter for my sister's home. She deserves so much, she took care of me when I was sick and in bed for a month, made runs to the hospital with me, doctors office also plus took care of two kids, basketball and baseball runs and her husband. I wish I could give my sister the world.
I love Candace she decorates really well, and she has innovative ideas. I love the fireplace with the waterfall and the room up above has inspired me to do my apartment that way. Does anyone know how to get on the show???
Throughout my stay in USA for over 13 years, considering I never watch anything but HGTV, she
was the top, so much as all the other shows seemed so bland and distastefull. Not only does she have such talent for decorating but also would bring a smile to my face with her warmth and humor. I would always think "Gosh if I ever got to meet her, I would have wanted to be her best friend for life, for as much as I can see, we have so much in common.
Now I have returned back to my country, which is Turkey and am now living in a beatiful town called Bodrum at the Agean Sea. I am an artist
and I think I am at the best place. But my only sorrow is we don't have her show in Turkey. Is there any way I can watch her shows?
I have trid to contact her in the States to congradulate her, but was not successful. Please send her my warmest thanks for brightening my days when I was there and hope for her to brighten my days here.
P.S. If there is any way that I can help to get her show to start here, I would love to help.
Warmest regards,
Dilek Mit
Candice Olson is the best! I never love everything about this show.
Christina
I love the ideas she uses in the spaces. Although all the shows end up with a wow factor but Candice has a stage higher than them.
The best way to watch Candace Olsen is with the mute button turned to on your remote control device.
I do like her design work. Her use of colour is really outstanding. However, after seeing the show from start to finish several times, the skits and the never-ending cheerfulness just started getting on my last nerve.
I then started to mute the show at the very beginning in order to catch the "before" . After that, I'd channel surf for the next 55 minutes returning to Candace (on mute) to check on the progress of the design, to then finally return for the "after", again with remote device turned on to Mute.
Still, I do respect her design talents.
Candace Olsen has phenomenal talent. Every room she designs is entirely different from the one she has done previously. I enjoy her program and I don't have a problem with her format. In today's glum, mean-spirited, violent and vile world of television shows we need lightheartedness and innovation and Candace's show fits that bill for me. Three cheers for Candace Olsen. Long may she rave!
Love to see Candice and her silly skits!
She has a great sense of humor and so does her staff from what we see on TV. I love all the episodes I've seen. I think people who don't understand that it takes madness to create art should loosen up (quite a bit). So what if the skits are silly? Would you prefer she be all serious? I don't. So what if the designs seem over the top? That's what makes the show so interesting to watch. Curtains, accesories are what make a room feel lived in and if it's not your taste then don't replicate it! I don't like all the designs for my home, but they certainly make me see things in a different light I can take this and that from each episode. I and many of my friends think Devine Design is just that: Devine! Thank you Candice and team.
Candice is absoletly fabulous! It really takes talent to be able to design in any style. She executes all her clients designs perfectly (to me) and she always adds a sophisticated taste to her work. Obviously her clients have money, and are wanting a "good job" done with their design problems. I love her skits (most of the time) and her wonderful attitude. She is an inspiration to me. I am a design student and would give anything to become 1/2 the designer she is. I will say one of her major wow factors in her room aside from the furniture and accessories is the lighting. But it is the way she sets up her lighting that makes it so great. Notice she designs for the recessed lighting to be close to the walls so they have that great "wall-washing" affect. Love You CANDICE!
I love this show. Candance is the best designer I know. I would recommand this show to anyone. When can you come to my house. It's the way she can take litlle things and put them together. I haven't seen a show I didn't like. Keep up the great work.
Boy, CO has a strong fan base! I think she is a solid designer, and has an especially good feel for fabrics and lighting. Her style is often too glitzy for me, but she only rarely goes over the line into bad taste (for me). She is, however, often impractical (the sand and candle in a house with kids, for instance). And I find it irritating that she pats herself on the back so much at the end and fishes for compliments. She giggles far too much, but that's probably just just a t.v.-presenter thing.
The cabinetry often looks a bit cheap to me. This might be more in the finishing than in the designing and building. She repeats a few color schemes, too. Powder blue and mink-brown comes to mind.
I remember an episode where photos were shown of CO and her crew from high school days. Hers were especially geeky...I rememebr a horrible perm, and maybe braces? Might explain a lot about who she is these days. Imagine being six feet tall and skinny as a post in HS. I am six feet tall and was skinny in HS.
I do wish they would tell us the budget for these projects, and I wonder whether the homeowners have to pay for it, and whether they participate in the design decisions. I wonder how much they keep...the show should go back a year later to follow up.
I like Debbie Travis's show, but I sure wouldn't let her into my home. Much of the work done is not of professional quality.
When candice is on tv everything stops. This is my time. I think candice is a very talented and classy designer. I enjoy her quirky humour. I wish that her and her crew would be more assessable to areas outside of Toronto. I would welcome her into my home any day.
LOVE the show, and I love Candice and her team! They are so funny. She is my favorite designer, and when I moved from the US to the UK and realized her show doesn't air here I was sorely disappointed. Candice, please contact Sky TV in the UK to help inspire people here!
I love Candice Olson and make time to watch her almost every afternoon. She's pregnant again - (Spring 2006) - does anyone know if she's had baby #2 and whether it was a boy or a girl? The first baby was a girl, as she mentioned to one of the clients on a show. I also noticed she's not wearing her flashy wedding rings this time around. Any clues??
I am a designer and have become very selective as to who and what I watch on HGTV. As a rule Design on a Dime and many of the other design shows on HGTV make me sick and I feel that the general public assumes that all or most designer's operate and design in such a cheesy and trendy fashion.
I have been to many client's homes and for the initial walk thru I am escorted through their homes in what seems to be an orchestrated, "I saw how this was done on HGTV" manner.
However, Candice Olson, Debbie Travis and Michael Payne are all my design hero's and I look up to them for their sense of class in presentation, vision and final design outcome.
I would love to meet Candice someday, perhaps she could be a guest speaker at High Point or one of the Window Fashion's Seminars.
I really enjoy Candice's show. She has great ideas and the rooms she works on always look extremely stylish. I like the fact that she is not afraid to use bold upholstry and drapery treatments. A lot of modern designers have gotten away from this look. If you favor the high tech, simplistic look that doesn't focus on details, Candice is probably not your favorite. She definitey knows how to make the most of room size, and usage. I was also a big fan of Lynette Jennings and her style of design. Since she is no longer featured here we need a good replacement. Candice Olsen fills the bill and more. Go Candice!
I love Candice's sense of style. She's got class and sophistication and old-world charm and richness in her designs which is exactly what I need for my place.I would love to be able to have her do my home.I am a single parent and perhaps it's only going to be a dream for her to give me the environment I need to feel totally in love with my space.Fabulous Candice!!!!
During the hurricanes of 2004 I lived in the Orlando area ... I really wasn't aware of HGTV. We were hit by Charlie, Frances and Jeanne that year. During Frances we were one of a very few homes that didn't lose power. I grew so weary of watching network coverage of the storms I began channel surfing and found HGTV and Candice. Needless to say I have been a fan of hers and the network since. Divine Design captivates me - all of it!
The Divine Design website is http://www.divinedesign.tv
To see a resource list for each episode, click on View Episode, then Where Does Candace Shop. You'll need to know the episode number to select in the Choose an Episode box. If you don't know the number, browse the episode listings via the Switch Episode option. The website has lots of information, including how to get on the show.
I agree with Kimberly Reeves. Candice and Devine Design is Divine. I find her personna refreshing, whether it is for TV or truely her own. I have been trying unsuccessfully to find the bedroom episode (date and number unknown)she did with light charcoal walls, taupe comforter and drapes with gray, champagne & plum accent pillows in order to duplicate it. I was especially interested in the paint supplier. Any one have that information?
Delores Jackson
I think Candice and her team are great! Of all the designers I've seen on TV, she is probably the only one I would invite in my home to take over my design challenges. Is there a way to get her to Chicago???
Elaine
I love CO, because she is by far the best designer out there. She really pays attention to detail and knows what her clients like. I myself is a designer in the Buffalo area and many people say that my designs remind them of Candice and i take great pride in that. It seems to me that people who are making the comments of dislike are the ones who can't relate to good taste or the beautie of real design.
I don't know if any of you know Christopher Lowell he to is a good designer on the discovery channel. He is the first designer that i ever saw that was very good, this man did amazing things.all and all Candice is the best desinger around.
Candice the best! She never disappoints. I would consider moving to the Toronto area just so she could design a room in my house!
It doesn't matter to me what anyone says. Candis is the best of the best. Everything room she designs is beautiful and gives the client what they want and much much more. She is very creative and a good listener. CANDICE I WANT YOUR HELP, but I understand you only work in Canada :(. I love you and will continue to watch your show for as long as it airs (which I hope is forever).
Jayne
Candice is the best thing on HGTV and the main reason I keep cable. I love the humor and the light heartedness thrown in with the amazing designs. I agree that Candice's has a sense of style, class and sophistication. Her show is the only one that truly gives us designer make overs that reflect that. I hired a designer who opened my eyes to the benefits of their talents and I continue to finish my home with Candice's ideas. Most of the design shows on HGTV simply aren't in the same league. Devine Design is just what I need in making my home the best it can be. Now I can't wait for a remake of a sewing room. Keep up the great work, Candice, you're great!!
I am a designer and I love her talent. Streamline is in all of us working woman do not have to much time to clean to much clutter. They are very crisp and also gives it a whole new better than ever makeover. I do not agree that any other design show has all that great of design except Candice's. As a designer you all know we all would like to do our own space. I say it all the time how I would love for her to redo a room in my house or three.
P.S. How can I get her to do my home?
Tracy
Candice is superclassicdesignoexpert.... she great.
I always tell my husband as a hint. She is the only one that can design my home..... hoping for a surprise.HUMMMMMMMMMMMM
classylaydyjay
Julia
I love her skits, and CHICO and Peter, and Andrew and well you know the show is just great.....
Who says the skits are .... they are enjoyable.
Candice is extremely talented . It just reminds me of how much value you get out of hiring a designer with certification versus someone who calls themself a designer or decorater who has not formally studied design. Yes there are people who are naturals but they will still lack some things that complete the package. Why not check to see their credentials before hiring them.
I am a designer and many clients want exactly what they see in a magazine. It is our job to educate the client as to what is realistic within their budget and what will actually work.Candice's designs are excellent.
Candice is a fantastic designerand person they have lots of fun working on project please contenue your show i really enjoy theam and it makes me dream that its my house your decarating all the best to you and your little familly and also does good loocking guys that work whit you bye bye
I love Candice Olsen's design work. I don't beleive I have ever seen a show that I wasn't awed about. I am recently widowed and I'm going to build my new dream home in Chichester, New Hampshire as a memorium to my late husband. It is being built on farm land where he grew up. I am looking for help with the interior design and I think Candice would fit the bill perfectly. Is there anyway possible she can help me complete this dream.
What is so great about Divine Design is that it has personality, I think a lot of design shows lack that. Candice is warm, friendly and funny. Some people are apparently annoyed by their fun side, I think that combined with obvious talent is what makes this show different and exciting. She always does something awesome. I wish the whole crew could come to my house and make it look picture perfect! I can't think of a better designer out there.
Love, the show.
Is Chico married?
Has Candice had her 2nd baby?
Elsa
As another tall woman I'm so proud of Candice. Love all the designs and hope to maybe work for HGTV soon! So creative I love the show! Much love from an NBA Production Assistant!
Candice.....you are truly one of a kind..so far I have loved every design you have come up with...as a former Canadian now living in the States I am very proud of how well loved you are of everyone I talk to....you are a great creator of wonderful ideas..I watch just hoping that some of your ideas will rub off in my imagination. Again thanks for making so many people happy....when you see someome else happy it pleases us just watching. Keep up the good work.
Wendy from Illinois
Love the Divine Design show! Candice has impeccable taste, and her creativity extends to those little skits which remind us to lighten up.
The skits on the show are a bit silly at times, but the outcome of Candice's designs are always incredible. She is endlessly talented. From her elevations to the finished product, she's a class act.
Love Candice, looking for episode that featured black dining room that showcased gold family piano.
I love Candice Olsen designs. I have seen a lot of designs in my days but she is Number 1 in the world to me. Keep up the excellent work.
I am 100% IMPRESSED with Candice's design ideas. I also enjoy the crew too (smiles). She is able to cover every single detail with such style (I am always in awe in her details). I have not seen anyone on TV come close to her creativity. There are other shows but they can be a hit or miss. In my view her talent is 100% consistent. I myself like the French County style (with a little mix) but even her contemporary styles are incredible. I love to watch Devine Design, the show is a SUCCESS! I would love to find out how I could submit a request for her to design my kitchen.
I love the show. I think Candace has outstanding instincts and taste. She is the perfect designer. She can take contemporary design and make it desirable as well as traditional and make it stands out with elegance but not stuffy. I think the humor makes her and her crew even more of a pleasure to watch rather than the know it all designer who simply does the job and leaves. If I had to do it all over again I would love to be another Candace.
