Find Marc Newson's "extruded" and beautiful marble chair disturbingly opportunistic. Anyone else feeling verbal and/or articulate about the design/art shift already mined...?
Gagosian should be ashamed or pay a royalty to the Burton Estate....switching materials/technologies is a poor excuse for bringing something fresh to an ancient and still fresh dialogue. Newson is a good and possibly a great designer...not dead yet.
Chez Gagosian continues to bend the "frame" of ART(?) to their own best interest. Who can blame Marc Newson for saying NO.
