Does anybody know the source of the nice ceiling light above the dining table. I really love it!
Thanks, guys
The historical couple seems what? I'm intruiged to know what you think. As I was reading the article I found my sympathies switched back and forth--I sort of agreed with the historical couple in theory, but I found the pictures of their house unpleasantly granny-ish.
These knobs are like nothing I've ever seen. A single knob on a special secret door, just daring you to enter...
Jenny— I thought it was interesting that the historical couple seemed dead-set in their belief "historical is the RIGHT way" while the modern couple weren't as defined and were willing to consider both options. Because of this, they ended up with a balance that bst suits them and their lifestyle.
I think it would be more interesting to restore all the old architectural detail and then decorate in a modern style. Create contrast.
I love some of those rooms in this issue. Especially that garage like door off the kitchen. I want one of those one day.
