Inspired by last week's comments (We believe the words "rat's ass" were used), we have decided to not only refrain from rating H&H, but to let you rate it. Therefore, if you are an H&H buff and read it from cover to cover or link to link, jump in and let the Grey Lady know what you think. (Rating at bottom.
AT says: In another so-so week, Edwina Von Gal's work in Panama gets top billing (love), the Milan Furniture Fair gets put on the back skids page (tell us more!) and born again Christianity sneaks into our pages with a report on St. Joseph's positive affect on home sales (Here comes Kansas). MGR

Not the most interesting issue of H&H. However, I was distracted by the new ThursdayStyles. I love Cathy Horyn's writing. Back to H&H, the St Joseph story is interesting, taking a decomissioned saint,( the church had taken the focus off saints in the past, St Christopher was in a lot of cars) and having him make Sean Lennon spend over 6 million for a village townhouse.
The least the Apartment Therapy and the NY Times can do is remove the soul-sucking Registration Required page for these links.
Please?
Yeah! Ditto!
I voted fair, however the scoop on Ty Pennington's new home decor line made me want to run out and buy one of everything! He's the Geechiest!
KJ and PAS, I don't think registering is such a hinderance, is it? (even tho there are tricks to see the pages without registering). You can't really expect to get all that NYT content for free, can you? If you value the content, it is likely worth the registration. Registration is not that onerous and it's a one time thing.
That being said, check out bugmenot.com if registering is that much of a chore.
How would Apartment Therapy have any control over the NY Times registration process? Sorry, but that makes no sense.
In any event, here's a link that you might find helpful
www.bugmenot.com/
You can log into any site without registering.
Sorry about registration, but it's not a big deal and you only got to do it once.... I totally forgot cause I don't see it anymore.... Give the Grey Lady her due!
Oooo, I'm feeling a little rapped on my knuckles.
We've been laughing in my office about the review of the Kips Bay showhouse in H&H. I guess when somebody mistakes the name of a French poet/painter for that of a transgendered tennis star, it's hard to resist the temptation to point that out.
