House Tour: New Family Home #4

12-13-house-tour1.jpg

Hi/Low rules. This bedroom is shaping up, but the new ANES dressers, installed last weekend, were a real find. Admittedly, they are light and they won't be handed down to grandchildren, but Ehlen Johansson's design seems beautiful, efficient and unique to us...

Those squiggle art works remind me so much of Hans Arp. They're so simple that surely just looking at them can cure a headache!

The squiggle art looks very much like the AT logo. :)

Want more pix!!! Like the nursery for instance. Love the new place, but more importantly, how are you liking it?

This makes me excited for the day that we (the three of us) move out of our one bedroom and into a bigger place.

Partly because it's so fun to decorate a new place, but also, because I have been collecting furniture for the next place and that is so against the "cure", but when I see something great for free or cheap I can't help myself!

It's been pretty fun to have a "studio w/ a nursery" though. And we are fortunate to have a living room large enough to do so. I don't know how the GRs made it so long in one room and not cosleeping!

How'd you manage to get two Ikea dressers with what appears to be matching veneers? (notice bottom drawer of each)

the dressers but what about moths? The openings look like prime invitations for chomping on cashmere or wool.

What are you going to do with all that space? Lot's of room for the rug rat to race around in.

Can it be called a House Tour if there are only two photos?

From experience: you are going to go crazy straightening that mesh bin all the time. Try to cultivate an attitude of acceptance.

Somebody needs a wide-angle lens for Christmas. :)

tome, they probably just changed the drawers from one dresser to the other so that they would have an identical look.
