1961. The Marais design shop oneninesixone, a favorite for 1960s-inspired lamps, cushions, tables, printed fabrics, and graphic candles, unveiled their latest collection at this year's Salon Maison et Objet. And these lampshades bearing moody photos of the Parisian skyline caught our eye...

mmm...love the wall colour...

I love it. One of things I'd like to see is not only the modern city of now, but the historic pictures of cities used in ways like this. Americans have gone to Paris since Ben Franklin was ambassador. Not everyone's memories are of the current day. Frankly, I'm the daughter of a historian. I'd prefer the interest of contrast between a celebrated city from an earlier era with what I see now even if I live there.

Thank you! Wow, surprised it's gray... looks more like a very dark teal. It is the perfect color for my floor.

Although... does anyone know what this means... how would I go about finding this paint. Is RAL a paint brand or a color specification.
(showing my ignorance!)
