Perfect industrial modern desk lamps never get old and can fit into any decor. Think Blade Runner or any film noir and you can imagine the perfect shape. That said, however, many seem derivative or not authentic enough. We found the Bruno at Rico in Brooklyn and like it enormously. Made by Robert Abbey, it has a solid steel frame with a leaded bronze finish and ebonized nickel accents. The Bruno has hi-lo dimming and also comes in a floorlamp ($115-$195).
