Love, Love, Love the table, but are we just supposed to blindly follow JA...I mean the pillows are too much for me. It seems as you would own one only so people would know that you have a JA pillow.

jlg: you're not supposed to blindly follow anyone! I would agree with the pillows...that's partly why there are new ones every year. After all, there are only so many people that really love pills...

JA is brilliant at mass-marketing what the public will buy, but very few of his designs aren't imitations of someone else's work.

And those tie and belt needlepoint pillows are disgustingly tacky.

Love the new lamps.

And love the arrow table, derivative or not.

I think, in the right setting, the belt and tie pillows are fun.

silly, silly and kitschy and not for me. but i do agree that one of the word pillows in the right context could be fun. i'm just not a fan of JA's aesthetic. that he has become a multi-million $ enterprise, well, good for him.

i, too, would like to see some less derivative work.

Those wooden (bamboo?) base lamps are incredible.

ARC - the wooden lamps were my favorite, also. (and apparently Mr. Adler's, too)

I'm so over JA. So very over. If I want his designs, I'll buy the vintage versions he so skillfully re-markets.
