C&B up as Martha goes down. With this new lamp on the cover of their latest catalog, C&B continues to earn our admiration for good design at low prices (particularly in the lighting department).
This Opal Lamp ($89) is handblown glass with a faux snakeskin shade and a three way switch.
We like the shape and the clean whiteness of the base. The shades are nice, but white or black shades would be far sexier.... MGR
I remain an ardent fan of C&B, for these lamps and for many other reasons, like their Gum Drop lamps you cited from last season. But please don't use the phrase "Martha goes down" ever again. EVER. ;)
