We've had our feelers out lately for wall-mounted lighting that can be used over dining tables and work desks. We have a clean ceiling plane in our home that we'd rather not interrupt with a pendant. ...as seen here. Mobility is key in this design: the telescoping arm of the lamp can reach out as far as 82". Tensile cables help keep the arm in place. The cool design comes at a price, though: over $1500 at Y Lighting.
