Light, light, light. If we had a museum for classic home design, we would induct the Woodbury Lamp today. Having seen it in people's apartments over the past few years, it stands out for its simplicity, lightness and the lovely light refracting quality in the glass milk bottle shape. Priced at $155, it also is priced affordably. Like any classic design, the Woodbury (don't like the name or the shade, have to admit), is capable of fitting into many different kinds of interiors, from modern to traditional. We see it as a perfect bedside lamp when used in pairs. MGR

Pardon my confusion, but where do the power cables for the bulb go?
That is exactly what I wanted to know.
You are right, some liberties were taken with the photo. Ah, that is the way styling works..... but having seen the lamps in person, I can attest to the fact that the simple white cord they use is minimal at best.
"Styling? That really seems like false advertising, considering that such a lamp would be possible with a battery. Then again, perhaps I should just build my own. :-)
Does Simon Pearce Woodbury lamp have a 4 leaf clover on its base as an insignia of the artist? I bought 2 lamp bases with the most incredible oval white leaded glass shades from an anitque dealer. Did Simon Pearce ever produce or affiliate himself with a leaded glass/stained glass artisan.
Thanks so much in advance for your answer.
We have two of these Woodbury lamps, in good condition, but would like to sell them before we move. Any interest?
Kimberly,
I will buy your lamps if they are still in perfect condition.... email me with your phone number and I will call you.
Thanks,
Abby
