We often stop and admire the window displays at Me&Ro on Elizabeth Street. The display is horizontal, and is generally made up of petals, leaves, and blossoms floating on a water surface. While the "water window box" is set just inside of the window plane, it still is a great success in bringing the outdoors in.
We'd love to find some way to create a pool like this in our apartment window, creating a strong sense of the outdoors without taking up a lot of space. It might even be as simple as setting a bowl of water and petals near the window, where the water can reflect the sky and the petals can bridge between the outdoors and indoors. -regina
