I don't know... but this stuff leaves me a bit cold. I appreciate that they are going for minimal, but this doesn't seem to have any sort of flair or character to it. And how are you supposed to open the drawers on that 4-drawer unit? Either you need to add knobs or you need to get some Lee Press-ons...

If you are tubby enough maybe the drawers will open from the force of gravity?

I think the room these go into would make or break them. In a sleek minimal room they could look really nice, but I can see them easily looking a little like dorm room furniture.

Your dorm must have looked a lot better than mine! This is wonderful. So much that is sleek lately lacks color. Eames' furniture never shied away from color. The lines here look good with almost anything from mid-century. I like the warmth of the wood too.

My dorm was seriously obvious, cheap, chipped laminates with bad lighting.

I'm not a big fan of these either. Maybe they look better in person, but they make me think of hotel furniture.

I think these are beautiful. I like the simple slabs of solid (solid-looking anyway) wood and don't think they hotel or dorm at all. They do look better without the knobs...

I have a wonk storage bed and matching side tables all in carbonized bamboo ply. Their stuff is amazing. The bed actually goes together without any screws, so it can be broken down flat (save for the actual drawers).
