The descriptors modern and wicker aren't usually found describing the same thing. The Reo collection from Selamat is an exception. a whole slew of bauhaus design combines the two.
or the best pieces by nanna ditzel (the egg chair and crib) among other scandinavian designers.
and then there are vladimir kagan's current pieces.
even ikea has had modern wicker pieces.
these chairs are nice, but modern and wicker is nothing new.
