Welcome back to Ashley! Comment away....

I don't think it'd be possible for Sweet Charity to squeeze in one more dish or pillow in the little store situated on 7th Ave in Park Slope. Not to worry, it's not quantity over quality in this home goods and gift store, its quality and quantity. Sweet Charity leaves you wishing you had more hands for carrying and money for spending! And the best part of spending at Sweet Charity? Charity! The store donates a portion of its profits to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah, and Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY...

The store also boasts a list behind the checkout counter of items they carry that are "not manufactured in China," along with a roster of all the local and national designers who's goods they sell. The list includes, Swigg, Jill Bliss, Cosmic Knits, Wooster and Prince, Waste Not Paper, Jackie Shapiro of Tepper Jackson, French Bull, Dash & Albert, Pine Cone Hill, and April Cornell.

The Lexon Mini Dolmen clock-radio is great for the minimalist (they
have hot pink, green, and blue for $48.00)

That store looks so cozy. I wanna just curl up on all those pillows and take a nap. It's great to hear that is donates some of it's proceeds to charity. A to this store.

This is such a cool store! I love those teapots. I've seen them other places but they've never fit into their surrounds as well as they do at Sweet Charity! :)
Great choice, Ashley!

Wow! This will be my new favorite store as I desperately miss April Cornell store in my local mall. Even if I wasn't buying, I would stop in just for the beauty break! Reminds me of a dream yard sale sponsored by Mood......
