AT:SF showcases the beauty and simplicity of growing an avocado, The process is beautiful, and the glass yogurt container is the perfect growing size!
At AT:Chi Janel went to a flower arranging how-to at a free flower arranging event. Flower arranging can actually be fun, but doing it in a group can be even more fun!

The AT:NY Offline MeetUp, organized by Jill, looked to be a humongous success with great speakers. Liberty Sunset's (photo above) Stacey Maire represented and answered peoples' plant questions.

Ohdeedoh loves dirt! A great book recommendation for the parent who realizes the value of fostering the appreciation of nature in their child - but might need a little help in where to begin. (I would be needing the 'sports' version of this book for my future child....)

But what's the man carrying in that picture---something that looks like very green hay?

The green stuff? Not for your smoking pleasure.
It is called alfalfa and it tears from the bales in sheets, cattle feed and for horses.
Richer food than hay, the horses and cattle like it very much.
