There's a new DIY series on the web called GOMI Style. Their focus is green lifestyle and design and their most recent episode demonstrates reuse of cardboard to create cool, almost free, furniture. Check it out after the jump, and don't forget our posts on cardboard furniture from the past:

Holy smokes, this brings back memories. When I was in college, my architectural design studio instructor had us design and build working chairs built only from cardboard and glue. I kept wanting to make a really complicated and interactive design, but I kept having trouble--one of my fallbacks was something almost totally like this! It wasn't my final design, though. It smiles to make me see this, though. =) A great way to recycle, especially since none of the cardboard needs to be pristince or even whole pieces!

I bought a similar looking cardboard chaise at Target for my cats! I am sure they would love this chair, and so do I.

Makes me smile. A family friend kitted out his tent this way during Desert Storm.

This reminds me of an interesting post I saw earlier this month on More Ways to Waste Time. There's a company called Molo Design that uses honeycomb paper to make seating, some really cool lighting, and even walls!

I have no idea how practical it would be, but I think it looks really interesting.

Yes! Just like the Cat Chaise, which is very popular in our household!

Please don't forget to give a shout out to the Adaptive Design Association here in NYC.

Beautiful furniture made from cardboard and it's made for kids with special needs to help them more fully participate in play and daily activities. They do remarkable work and the people at ADA are amazing.
