I hate to say this, but because the fog has rolled in and there are thundershowers and rain forecast for today, we're going to postpone our annual walk of Manhattan Island for three weeks, until December 3rd.
I know that seems like a really long time from now, but we need to get clear of Thanksgiving (and we're away next Sunday). My apologies to anyone who's had their shoes strapped on all weekend for this, but WE WILL WALK, it's just going to be later. Meanwhile, have a great Sunday and stay out of the raindrops.

Oh well -- and I cleaned all day yesterday in case the group wanted to see my place. Now I'll just have to stay home, sip cappucino and read the Times; all the while enjoying the benefits of yesterday's "cure"!
Dec 3 will be here before you know it -- see you then!
Frank, Enjoy the day and thanks for reminding me that I have to get up the new Weekend Cure installment right now! ;-)
I'm glad for a second chance to do the walk. This weekend I was slammed with work and couldn't have made it. Fingers crossed Dec.3rd works out (and is unseasonably warm) Three weeks to prepare for that uphill slope uptown!
Sweet! I couldn't go this weekend, but hoping to attend on the 3rd.
Are we still on for Sunday, Dec. 3? According to the weather reports, we'll get the rain out of the way before the weekend, and on Sunday it'll be crisp & cold: perfect walking weather.
