The Sawhorse Worktable has a worksurface of 60" x 28" and would be beautiful in a studio or office. The height of 29" might make this suitable for a slender dining table, too, though there's not much legroom at the ends. The price of $450 isn't bad for a glass-topped table.
I'm more interested in the lamp. Where is that from?

Everything looks great except for the glass...I can't stand glass table tops!

The lamp is also from west elm. They also make a floor lamp in this style which has more than caught my eye. The table lamp is $129.

Ikea has a similar table. Its not as sharp, but good for people on a budget. Also, I believe Ikea offers some custom options where you can mix and match legs with table tops.

@zzzap you can buy two saw horses from Home Depot or the like and then use a old door. Or have glass or wood cut to fit.

yeah, i've seen that i just don't like how wide the legs look? this is my dream desk: http://hivemodern.com/products/?view=sub_product&sid=1193 and i feel like this is getting closer to it, but I still feel like i'm being ripped off for $450!

this looks fantastic in-store! it looks smaller but the chair and desk are both just awesomely sophisticated and crisp looking!

Love the look of this but the constant cleaning it would need to maintain its appearance would drive me nuts. Why is finding a nice, functional desk so difficult.
