This stool's designed by Santiago Calatrava, the same architect who has designed the $2.2 billion WTC Transportation Hub.

The spanish architect's style is sinewy and tensile, which you can see in both the stool and his design for the WTC hub. The stool was designed back in 1986 for the Tabourettli Theater in Basel. While it's no longer in production, it can still be picked up at auction.
