Cosco Chair with Step Stool (From Giulia's House Tour)

The chair provides a guest a place to perch while you cook plus a stepladder for reaching your high cabinets. That and its retro looks are bought for the price of about $45. Check out Guilia's bright red version in the picture below:

My grandmother had one of these when I was a child in the 80s.
I've even thought about buying a few as Christmas presents to my siblings and parents the last few years.
Maybe next year.

Me too! My grandma (Abuelita) had a green one in her kitchen in the Dominican Republic. I totally remember sitting in it while she cooked up yummy treats. *sigh* Thanks for the memory AT.

My mom has had a red one in her kitchen since before I was born. I keep intending to steal it, but the thought of taking it 200 miles is a bit daunting.

My Nana had a bright pink one (to match the bright pink stove and bright pink fridge and bright pink phone, of course!). in her kitchen when I was growing up. I'd sit there and watch her cook. My mom bought me a red one from Target a couple Christmases ago. Now I sit there and watch my boyfriend cook. Maybe the chair is the reason I don't cook...

I have one of those in that pale aqua green in storage, why am I hiding it. It is vintage and I do need the stool/seat in my tiny kitchen.

omg! my granny had an old red one when we were growning up...and now i have it in my kitchen for my son...yes it all old and not as shiny..with a couple of paint splatters on it (because its been used in plenty kitchen painting events!)...my son loves to sit on it...i love having it!

My mom has a bright yellow one. I remember using it a a seat when I was young instead of telephone books. She has always used it as a step stool as far back as I can remember.

I don't have the space in my current apartment, but I plan to get one in a future space.

haha, my grandma had an ancient one of these in avocado green. I was standing on it one day and it tipped over and I fell and sprained my hand.

My favorite aunt had this and I loved sitting in her kitchen and watching her cook, a big influence on my life. I want one of these.
