When looking for bar stool, the search can go on and on. Our current list is here. When looking for the vintag-y, chrom-y, retro kind the usual suspect all have four legs and look like the Happy Day's diner. We want something cooler than that.
The best one we've seen lately is at the Aroma Espresso Bar on Houston Street. While we don't know their source yet (tell us if you know), this speaks to us as a really nice, classic and clean design and the kind that would work well at home. In particular, the single pedestal base means that it takes up less room and allows feet to wrap in close around it. We'll source this one and link it, but we just wanted to get it into the archive today.
